The final season of “Young Sheldon” is scheduled to premiere on February 15, 2023, with a one-hour series finale slated for May 16.
The series, which debuted in 2017, has been a hit, captivating audiences with the story of a 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper, a child prodigy living in Medford, Texas.

While “Young Sheldon” will continue to be available for streaming on Max, Warner Bros.
Discovery’s decision to bring it to Netflix opens up the show to a broader audience.
Netflix subscribers will have access to seasons 1-5, with the sixth season remaining exclusive to Max for the time being.
Notably, the seventh season of “Young Sheldon” will be shorter than its predecessors due to disruptions in production caused by dual Hollywood strikes.
Fans were given a hint about Sheldon’s future during the previous season when he began compiling an extensive catalog of college educational grants, suggesting an imminent journey to the California Institute of Technology and linking the storyline to “The Big Bang Theory.”
Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, expressed gratitude to the show’s executive producers and creative teams, noting that “Young Sheldon” distinguished itself with a remarkable cast and unique, heartfelt stories that resonated with audiences.
The show’s final season is anticipated to deliver a fitting conclusion, and Reisenbach looks forward to celebrating it with the best episodes yet for the fans to enjoy.
