The new feature is enabled by default after updating your software which is also available on macOS Ventura beta 9 i.e. Your downloaded app which requires additional download will preload automatically before launching the app. To tweak or switch off in-app content settings on your iPhone, the feature can be found in the App Store section of your iPhone settings.

  • Clearer Wallpaper Settings UI

iOS 16.1 public beta 3 brings about a glossy user interface for editing your wallpaper in the wallpaper section of your iPhone settings, especially for users switching between multiple wallpaper / lock screen setups to enable quick access and arrangement.

  • Matter Support Update

The newly introduced smart home connectivity standard that enables compatible accessories to work together seamlessly, across platforms on the previous beta released has now been removed on iOS 16.1 public beta 3 which it isn’t yet confirm if the removal is permanent or temporary, though Apple made a revelation that the future iOS 16 update will enable Matter support. Installing iOS 16.1 beta 3 is as easy as before since it’s air and available right in the Software Update section of your iPhone settings. The software update option will only come up once you’re running a previous iOS 16.1 beta version and have the iOS 16 beta profile installed on your iPhone.
